What ingredients are used in Bootlegger Soap?
Bootlegger bars are cold-processed from a base that includes Coconut Oil, Canola Oil, Soybean Oil, Shea Butter, Olive Pomace Oil, Sunflower Oil, water, sodium hydroxide and fragrance.
Depending on the bar, we may also use ingredients such as sea salt, ground oatmeal, activated charcoal, lemongrass flakes or lemongrass oil.
The exact ingredient list for each bar is shown on its product page and label, so you can see exactly what you are buying.
Do you offer different scents?
Absolutely. Our current lineup covers everything from bright citrus to warm sandalwood and smooth lavender.
Examples include Prohibition (citrus & berries), Roadhouse (sandalwood & musky floral), Moonshiner (cherry & roasted almond), Barkeeper (black raspberry & vanilla), Barnstormer (eucalyptus & lime), and Speakeasy (lavender).

What makes Bootlegger soap unique?
Bootlegger Soap combines small-batch, cold-processed soap with the style, attitude and intrigue of 1920s Prohibition culture. The scents are bold, the branding has personality, and every bar is made to feel like more than a generic drugstore soap.
What if I have sensitive skin?
Skin and fragrance sensitivities vary from person to person. Our bars are made without sulfates or parabens, but some include fragrance and mild exfoliants such as sea salt, oatmeal or charcoal.
If your skin is very sensitive, start with one of our smooth, no-grit bars, patch test first, and stop use if irritation occurs.
How long do Bootlegger soaps last?
How long a bar lasts depends on how often you use it and how well it dries between showers. Keeping the bar out of standing water and allowing it to dry fully will help extend its life.

Can I use Bootlegger Soap on pets?
Yes. Bootlegger Soap bars are made for people and are not formulated as pet shampoo or veterinary products. For pets, use a product specifically made for their skin and coat.
